You're right Matty, it doesn't come under a "Classic Luge" classification, but also it isn't suitable to ride as a luge in a "Streetluge" event due to the type of handles they have....doesn't meet the safety specs. A great, and cheap, way to learn how to ride a luge though.
wrong, many dudes run cnc'd trucks in classic luge and bends are fine, classic luge must be a wood core board no handles.
these handle are dangerous anyway, fall over and they will dig in, think about going over and it digging in in front of you, sparks flying sharp metal attached to a huge piece of wood spinning out of control, tearing at flesh.
Precision trucks don't matter, i ride maguns on my buttboard.
if you take the handles off it would be better as a buttboard, and then when you get your confidence and some money you can move into the street luge. I started on buttboard, and i still think it is a great foundation for street luge. Just change your handles, and you'll be right.
