something I've been tossing up for a while is whether you could have a whole lot of routed channels like this, in the middle plys of the board, but covered b the top and bottom few plys, kinda the same concept as a foamie, except keep some material so the top plys dont bend when you stand on them, only downside I could think of is that it would create a lot of torsional flex, does this happen to this???

also that looks absolutely pimpin

No this deck is extremely stiff both longitudinally and torsionally due to the thickness of the deck and the heavy duty glass used in construction. Build it and see what happens, you could be on a winner!

yeah a build a rough proto on the weekend, the ideas been buggin me for a while

multiaxial glass would help with the torsional flex I'm guessing

but yours looks quite solid
and sweet
