Hell yeah

Welcome to the richest leg of downhill racing the world has ever seen. During 10 days in April the worlds best will converge on Australian shores for the start of the IGSA World Tour. Riders from North America, Europe, Africa, South America and Asia will face off against the best riders in Australia for $30,000 in cash and the title of worlds best.

It will be 10 days to examine the soul of a rider and determine if they can come out on top and take the title and the big dollars, or crash in a heap.

Welcome to the Australian World Cup leg, the richest, the biggest, and the craziest show on earth.

Goldfields is booked by the event promoter.  Call up Goldfields direct and say you are a competitor, they should have room.

Hey Furlong.  Good to hear you are buttboarding as well. We were planning on running traditional IGSA format for luge at Keira (ie, two qualifying runs + elimination).  However, if the numbers don't pick up we obviously will have very few lugers competing.

ASRA runs a lot of different formats at races here so we can run the race in a few different ways.  If there are not too many riders a round-robin points system works well and gives everyone a lot of runs and an opportunity to race everyone else.  We are open to suggestions from the riders and will do our best to accommodate everyone's wishes/ideas.  But let's wait and see how many riders we get first.

Abdil:  I'm a huge fan of 3 heats Ultramass Classic Luge races with a points system when the turnout is relatively low like this.  It was fantastic at PEC with 9 riders on the course at once.  Not sure how it'll work at these races.

So Haggy, just checking back here about updates on the racing format for both luge classes. Has it already been finalized?

On a sidenote, I have decided to race classic luge at both events. Initially I chose not to because I didn't want to bring another board and having more excess baggage weight to deal with the airline, but Nic is loaning me a board so I don't have to bring my own!

I will pay for the 2nd discipline when I get there.
