Welcome to the richest leg of downhill racing the world has ever seen. During 10 days in April the worlds best will converge on Australian shores for the start of the IGSA World Tour. Riders from North America, Europe, Africa, South America and Asia will face off against the best riders in Australia for $30,000 in cash and the title of worlds best.
It will be 10 days to examine the soul of a rider and determine if they can come out on top and take the title and the big dollars, or crash in a heap.
Welcome to the Australian World Cup leg, the richest, the biggest, and the craziest show on earth.

Is there a junior 1 category for people under 13 and under?
Will I be using my IGSA number or given a number specific to this event?
Robbo, will the odd/even tree system be used for street luge if there are less than 32 riders? Personally I would rather have a 2nd qualifying run on Saturday.
Hypothetically, let's assume the other 31 street lugers also agree with me, that they would also prefer a 2nd qualifying run instead of doing the odd/even tree. Is there enough time on the schedule to do 2nd qualifyng run for street luge on Saturday? Or the timing system will not be available to use/rent/hire on Saturday?
If u win it be like winning a million dollars
hahaha yes!
dunno why your all winging bout the prize money coz yate dawg is gonna win the classic butt-luge anyway!
LOL
Am I in the right forum here?
Are you sure this isn't grumpy old farts corner?
Yes I know the program is full, but would it be possible to slot in an
"Eddie Spearing 101 cone challenge"????? on Mountain Straight
Be kinda nice to have racers pick up cones for organisers and track marshalls one morning or evening....
The event has always been awesome and although the festival lacked a little last year I had fun!
The camping was cold and miserable though which obviously isn't the organisers fault but the running out of toilet paper and not replacing it, the no hot water and the no cleaning of the showers and toilets was a gross let down (literally gross). After my final heat, sopping wet and freezing cold I had a cold shower in a cubicle that was coated in mud (not just a little mud, you couldn't see the paint on the walls. I blame the mountain bikers!) I doubt that any of that is ASRA's responsibility though and as Dave said, we live and we learn. Of all the events I have ever been to though, the facilities at the last years Newtons were by far the worst.
Not complaining though!
