Hey guys..
Been having problems with wheels...
Got a brand new set of 66mm zigzags on the slalom board i got.. and rode them a few times and the back lip pealed right off.
Also.. had a brand new set of 70mm zigs but rode these on the avenger without sliding and it did the same.. but worse. They were about 4 months old but only opened them up and rode them a few days ago.
And latest wheels.. 77a Avilas... Have done the same thing on 2 wheels...
Just wondering if anyone knows whats up.. if its be being very unluck getting 3 dodgey batches.. or just my riding style?
They were all brand new.. NO sliding at all... not even worn in

Got any pictures?
Thats strange hey! could it be something your riding over? have you ridden all these wheels in the same spot?
I know I did something similar to a big zig after riding over the edge of a path whilst carving hard and putting most of my weight on to it. It was new too
3 different sets of wheels, 3 of the same defects... i don't think thats a coincidence. my guess is you've ridden over something or smashed em by mistake with something...
Im guessing its when you go up/ down driveways on an angle. The outer lip is catching and ripping?
Same thing happened to sector9 cruiser wheels.
But yea, defs not 3 wheels with the same defect.. Your the common factor bro : )
I know avilas chunk like that if u slide/drift at all
The zig is hectic!
Could it be a type of bearing lubricant you are using thats degrading the urethane of the wheels? Just a thought, (probably a wrong one) cause its weird for that to happen on 3 different types of wheels
