Hey guys..

Been having problems with wheels...

Got a brand new set of 66mm zigzags on the slalom board i got.. and rode them a few times and the back lip pealed right off.

Also.. had a brand new set of 70mm zigs but rode these on the avenger without sliding and it did the same.. but worse. They were about 4 months old but only opened them up and rode them a few days ago.

And latest wheels.. 77a Avilas... Have done the same thing on 2 wheels...

Just wondering if anyone knows whats up.. if its be being very unluck getting 3 dodgey batches.. or just my riding style?

They were all brand new.. NO sliding at all... not even worn in

Just uploaded the pics.. The avila.. goes into the contact path alot.. Vibrates a hell of alot at high speeds... And the other is the 70mm... Lip folds right back. Dodge photos sorry :(

Got any pictures?
Thats strange hey! could it be something your riding over? have you ridden all these wheels in the same spot?

I know I did something similar to a big zig after riding over the edge of a path whilst carving hard and putting most of my weight on to it. It was new too
That Avila photo doesn't really help
Its just some blue, sorry
Thats hectic as, anything rubbing or something?
Yeah i would try hell hard to get my money back
All happend at different times/places.. the first 66mm was at an estate.. just pumping along on teh road.. the 70mm rode to school 1 day along my rode.realised while i was kicking up a hill cause it was vibrating bad. no footpaths there.. and the avila.. maybe pumping hard. Dont have the proper camera here.. Just my mini cam

3 different sets of wheels, 3 of the same defects... i don't think thats a coincidence. my guess is you've ridden over something or smashed em by mistake with something...
I know avilas chunk like that if u slide/drift at all
The zig is hectic!
Could it be a type of bearing lubricant you are using thats degrading the urethane of the wheels? Just a thought, (probably a wrong one) cause its weird for that to happen on 3 different types of wheels
I know.. One of the marks in te avila was from me.. But the zigs.. just riding on the road then realise mega vibrations.. But dont know how the second hunk came outta the avila

But there was no driveways.. the avila was from a gutter i think.. The road i skate to school.. No gutters just grass.. its the zigs that im confused about.

Im guessing its when you go up/ down driveways on an angle. The outer lip is catching and ripping?
Same thing happened to sector9 cruiser wheels.

But yea, defs not 3 wheels with the same defect.. Your the common factor bro : )
Maybe you pump to hard on your slalom board, and carve to hard as well hahaha
The Avilas and the 70mm wheels were ment to be used jsut straight downhill for me.. No sliding at all. didnt even get to take the 70mm zigs for a spin down a hill. Avilas were rolling on brand new bone reds..and zigs were boardshop ceramics. Doubt that its the problemt.. Maybe... Just unlucky and hit something or got 2 bad batches
