Hey,

a long wet winter is coming up in adelaide and im considering carving treads into my wheels. Is it worth doing and what are some good ways of doing it?

Cheers Jonty.

backhanding yourself in the head three times, then looking on silverfish, or on "flatspot Phil's" thingy
steal your mums steak knife stab your self in the leg get on your board  while on your knees roll slowly  with the knife cutting in the wheel do this about 4/5 times accross each wheel
just get a drill attach the wheel to it and use a rasp to cut in the grooves. although the best way is to see if your school has one you can use. (presuming your at school)
yea just sit on your board and roll along with a knife on the wheel

thats frikking gnarly^^^^

Bread knife or a flat rasp work best for a quick DIY rain wheel jobby. Like these guys said, just roll down a mellow hill and cut them in. Just be careful not to impale yourself!
