anything will work its up to your ABILITY to use it...

P-swiss raced the Goldrush challenge on a slalom board, and thats a hill with 80km/h straights into hairpins... ive also seen many dudes ride maryhill on slalom boards. and wheelbases are getting shorter and shorter these days. everything works, its all about the rider
don't stress about wheelbases etc, just choose a board that looks good to you and get used to riding it. If you are used to it then it wont matter whether you ride a 26"WB or a 33"
I think it also depends on your height and therefore the width of your stance. You still need to fit and be comfortable on your board
Also depends on if it is topmount or not. A lot of topmounts are under 30" WB because the platform can go almost right on top of the trucks. Dropthroughs, droppped decks need longer WB's so you can still have a reasonable amount of usable platform
its a topmount i've decided to go 27inch axle center to axle center thanks for the help.
cheers steve
