Why do I need 3 trucks?

Each Truck has a specific purpose.

The “X-TRUCK”

also known as the VXR truck is a rear specific, high speed, high performance component and was designed to ELIMINATE speed-wobble and boost confidence at speeds over 40mph. The VXR truck is for experienced riders who are confident in going over 50mph.

The V5F and V5R

The V5F and V5R are a first of their kind aero foiled directional wing truck. Conceived, engineered, designed and tested in the USA. These 50 degree reverse kingpin trucks stand as the best all around longboard trucks on the market.

Veloz Trucks

• When you pair the VXR Truck with the Veloz V5F Truck, you have an X5 set

X5 Set

The Veloz X5 truck set is used by racers and hill bombers alike. The X5 Setup can handle any speed you feel like dishing out. This is Veloz’s best speed set for serious down hill racers who like riding loose, sensitve trucks with out fear of speed wobble. The X5 truck set up make speed wobbles a part of history. X5 is not a tight slolom set up, but, if set up on shorter boards, riders can acheive tight turning on 90 degree turns or tighter.

The front truck (V5F) has a reverse kingpin set at 50 degrees and the rear X truck (VXR) is 0 degree kingpin angle which allows for front wheel steering only. The traction and slippage control is greatly enhanced. Keep in mind the aero foil directional wing truck design is alive and very noticeable when riding speeds over 30mph. The VXR even has the base plate reversed for further aerodynamic performance.

V5 Set

This system has a dedicated front and rear specific truck. The V5 offers superior all around performance at normal speeds. The V5 is VELOZ answer to all traditional truck competitors.
