ok....
i am trying to get into some more serious DH and go faster.....
so i realize i need to tuck...
BUT
whenever i try to tuck i feel so unbalanced that i just go back to a normal stance..
any tips to help me improve my tuck at all?
or is it always like that...........

get your tuck like this.... and you should be resting a lot of your weight on the back of your heel from you knee so you can just sit there 'chill' (going in a straight line) well at least thats how robbo told me to do it.

thanks
i have tried that but it still feels unstable
anyway
maybe thats just becoz im new to it.........
and ive found this website:
http://www.lushlongboards.com/index.php?cPath=259_228

just look at the really good guys that are the same stance as you, copy and practice

ur fastest tuck will be the one you are most confident and comfortable in, cool thing about tucks there very individual, agree with toby, just practice
the only way to get it right is to get out and practice... being able to get low and more aero than standing straight is easy but perfecting your tuck can take years... i just need to keep at it and as your gain more experience you will figure it out
tuck is a hard thing to get spot on...
Try just squatting down into position then bend at your waist, don't hunch over, try keep your back straight and shoulders back.
Either way just have a lash
thx for all the replies...
really helps!

ok so, my tuck looks like shit and i seem to be going ok speeds.
does anyone have any pointers for my stance atm?
feet positioning, weight resting foot, better stability, anything else?
thanks guys.

looks ok to me dude. ideally you want that chest resting on your knee. to do that, by looking at the picture, you wanna drop that back leg a bit and sort of sit in it. that will drop your ass and you'll be able to rest your chest on your knee, which will make your tuck lower.
otherwise, your on the right track.
