Small snowboard bags do the job. They are much cheaper than the decent hardware bags. Granted they aren't quite as good, but they fit a couple of boards, a few sets of wheels, pads, shoes and a weeks worth of clothing. The clothes pad the boards to protect them a bit.

ive got a golf bag i used to travel with until i got a better one you can have for $50. the zipper needs fixing though
