Top and Bottom Bushing's
As I was scrolling through board shops range of bushings, I noticed that when selecting a set of double barrels, you can choose both your top and bottom bushing.
So, I am just wondering what the difference is between the functions of the top and bottom bushing, and why It is that many riders, use different bushing durometreson each truck?

Using information gathered on ASRA, the top bushing (usually harder), gives stability, and the bottom one (softer), gives good turning ability. Hope this helped you out. Instead of having only two stable bushings, or two softer turny bushings, you can use both, and have the best of both worlds.

for me, having a softer bottom bushing and a harder top bushing gives a divey feeling...
harder bottom and softer top seems to be the norm when using different duro bushings

sorry, got my comment a bit mixed up. bottom bushing (closest to deck) is harder, eg. green venom DH, and top bushing is softer, eg. red venom dh.

hmm..i must be running my deck weird then, i run a soft bushing on the bottom and a harder one on the top (roadside)

i love it personally, masses of turn, good return to center (this is my everything but DH and sliding board though) so it's what i want lol.
I've been under the impression that the top bushing (closest to the road) makes determines the amount of rebound you have and the bottom limits the amount of turn you have which is probably wrong right?

on my soft wheel sliding/freeride setup, i'm running an 85A barrel bottom and hard indy cone on top. Makes it nice and divey-great for standup slides! but i usually run a harder bottom bushing on downhill setups
