Has bought from stoked skateboards before?

I am thinking of buying a landy switchblade from their site.

How is the shipping in regards to time and stuff?

well i got a nemesis, footbrake soles, wheels...all kinds of things from there and the footbrake soles was about a week - week and a half....the board was about 2 -3 weeks

i would, but it's about $200 more expensive. I'm 17, and like most teenagers, i'm not rolling in money.

Just buy it from an australian store.. You will get it in 2 days! Support the scene that supports you!

nice.....Actually I have a job. But i'm not going to spend more money than i have to. I'd also like to add the the switchblade is sold out at Boardshop.com.au and hopkin. so i  don't have that much of a huge choice anyway....

Well get a job you filthy grommet. If you had a job you could make that extra $200 in less time then your board will take to ship to you..

I talked to the guy who owns switchback, he rackons that anyone from asuatralia who is australian and buying from an international store is an idiot. He always directs them to a local store
Well, i'm not sure when he said that. But right now, the Australian dollar is worth more than the U.S dollar. So stuff from the u.s is super cheap. I can get the switchblade complete for $280 shipped to brisbane. I would love for you to find somewhere cheaper in Australia.

Yeah, they are in stock. But they're $420...

www.concretelines.com.au I know for a fact they have switchblade in stock. If its not on the webpage ask him about it.. There is 2 in store.

People i know have ordered from there. Anywhere in the US is likely to be more than 2 weeks.

Hi amoses213, just checked Stoked's website and they're out of LY Switchblades.

The total cost of the board with freight to Australia is $287.28.  BUT you only get the bare minimum, cheap hardware, mini logo bearings, no bearing spacers, no deck washers and guess what - no warranty

If you want this gear with the extra's, it starts costing more.  Just beware of what you're actually receiving...

stoked have been pretty good to the aussie scene for an international store, they where the first shop to sponsor a rider from Vic. I aint passing judgement on buying from the states, but if you go down that path stoked have done abit of good here

Aussie shop cant really lower their prices, the cut they get at the moment is stupidly low. Sure the prices may be a little higher, BUT you get an implied warrenty (so if your nice new deck implodes, someones got to listen) and the knowlege that you're supporting aussie races, which couldnt exist without vendor support. An actual shop lets you walk in and see the deck before you buy it, feel the concave etc, without reliying on pictures and reviews

as for accessories - most stores run off a percentage, and coudnt exist selling bolts and bushings alone.

shipping from the states is a bitch too, plus it doesnt always actually arive.

He's after a complete. Seriously people gotta stop getting so personal over Australian stores, if you can save money go for it. Bushings, wheels, trucks, same price here, when it comes to completes and some decks you can save alot of money. For some people that means getting an average setup or a great setup for much cheaper.

Half the money these stores make is probably off the spare parts anyway, if they lowered the prices on the completes they would sell much more.
