ASRA - Australian Skateboard Racing Association

The round lipped, centreset ones, I think they come in 70mm, 76mm, 81mm in 78a-yellow and 80a-red.
Anyone ridden? Can someone please give a quick review.
I'm looking at the 70mm yellows...but any is good.
Cheers.

The Freeride wheels are all yellow even the 80a ones disregard what the sector9 website shows. Gabe seems to rate them highly when compared to the softer brotangs they slide and re-grip in a really predictable way and tend to last a bit better with the center set
very good wheel, one of the most predictable slide wheels around, loads of grip as well.
what about sector 9 black nine balls. they are 75 and i think 73a. i have not got to ride them yet, i got them from lesso.
Ash said he had used the white nine balls and they were good, just did not want to start a new discussion.
I am not a heavy guy, and I like the easy sliding chalky wheels. I'm looking for a mainly freeriding wheel, so I don't need heaps of grip, so considering those factors, do you think these wheels would be a good choice?
Thanks Hop, was helpful!
I'm now looking at the 82a because the reds even look too gripp, let alone yellows. How do people find their grip? As I'm looking for a primarily freeride wheel.

whoops, I meant 80a, not 82a in the post above.
yellow 78A are good for steep hills because they kill a good amount of speed, pretty fast and centresets have very nice and even wear. I have 76mm 78A worn down to 64mm or so and they are still super fun wheels that have stayed round and with minimal coning. Would highly recommend them...my favourite wheels
I am thinking about getting these...what do you think of them? Are they very grippy?
I'm looking for a freeride wheel similar to Gravity Drifters, Pink Powerballs, ABEC11 classic thane freerides.
BTW, do you mean 80a?

If your after a set, I have a set of 82a 70mm centersets that have little wear, message me if your interested
are the other race wheels good for a slide?
I'm fairly sure they are only 78a and 80a. Anyway, I'll read up a bit, and I might contact you.

Well I ride a topmount and personally am not the biggest fan hence why I'm selling them. Although they would have a much different feeling on a drop-thru

And, no they are the red 82a 70mm centersets.
