the hellcat is an awesome all-round board. It is great for downhill, and can also be used for carving. my friend has the board, and he is very happy with it, and he uses it for downhill and freeriding. Although the Glyde and Evo eg. are more focused on downhill, the hellcat is just as good for dh IMO.
thanks alot man.

also, if your thinking of getting one, dont get clear grip tape. it looks really bad, not just IMO, but in all my friends as well. I would personally get black, or make a custom coloured on like this one http://www.flickr.com/photos/8786622@N07/2924085507/in/set-72157614....

personally i believe it cant match that of the evo and the glyde for dh
Thats why in our races i beat both those boards daniel on my hellcat! it is great for dh it is good for speed checks and cornering because of the w concave

try to stop cutting people off and laughing when they almost hit a wall, note that i said almost cause my glyde can take corners, remember ollie that its 95% rider 5% board.
riderr, not the board. Zak Maytum raced Maryhill on a slalom deck and did well. Even then i wouldn't say that they match evo's and other DH decks.
what flex is ur dervish, how much do you weigh, and what trucks and wheels are u running. I am a little too light for my flex 1, which means i can use it more for downhill.

im on a flex 2, around like 45 kg's and running otang in heats orange and randall 180's. took my derv 50 and i really dont think it will take much more than that.

Dan i didnt cut you off you just wouldnt accept you had lost and the race was over and as a result rode in to a wall.

Get any downhill board really. like maybe a glyde, or any rayne or landyachtz boards. You will like any of them. Try to ride as many boards as possible before you buy one though.
