Numb leg
The other night i went skating the roads were wet and my board escaped from under my feet =(. I ended up falling on my left upper thigh (most of my weight hit the ground there) and it hurt like a B#$^h and I had to limp home. What was lleft on my leg was an extremely swollen football sized bruise I thought. Well it's still just as swollen, and some of the outside around the football swollen bit is black but the most of it is still just as swollen, and extremely pale and when i touch it it's numb. I haven't gotten anything like this before, just wondering if anyone has some advice on treatment or if I should go to the doctors? I have had an ice pack on it and had it elevated every night and the swelling doesn't seem to be going down and I still can't feel anything. Please help me!

Most likely you've damaged the lateral cutaneous femoris - but usually it's not too big a dealio; unlike the central nervous system the PNS can regenerate neurons through axonal growth and rewiring via a process of Wallerian degeneration (the myelinating Schwann cells are dynamite with providing enough neurotrophic factors)

Doc can't do shit i have nerve damage on my hip, knee and thumb when eva it gets cold it gos numb. its been like this for a year with my hip and longer for the rest, Doc will say ride it out might fix its self might not. Doc suck its hard to find one that knows shit about shit.

i have a similar story was wet in parking garage board came out didnt have time to dampen my fall landed straight on my hip had a gigantor bruise for two weeks except mine was yellow and purple not black probably hit harder is all
