MY MINI FAILS.
i have an arbor pocket rocket with gullwing alpines and abec 11 strikerz.
the trucks and wheels are good but the deck is kinda too small.
i was thinking of cutting up a double kicker in to the shape i wanted.
has anyone tried cutting up a double kicker to make themselves a mini? how did it work out?

Yeah i have done that
Used a bandsaw at school, was easy as. If you know how to use one... otherwise a jigsaw will do fine.
My board is actually rectangular now, no kicks. It has Evolved

Cutting a double kicker is the easiest way to make a mini cruiser. You will likely want to stretch the wheel base as far as you can without the baseplates moving past the kick. Look for another deck you like and create a plain shape of the rail from nose to tail then pencil it on your deck. Just copy one side of the deck and use that to duplicate on the other side

oi bud, just cut a triangle out at the end of the front truckholes, me and my mate did that and thats how i got into longboarding, weve hit up to about 45 on them, solid as, last forever, but i dont think that itll be any bigger, their pretty damb small,
we rode around ikea on ours, very nimble, awesome commuter

isaaac. mine is koa.
not really wanting to swap because the deck was $140 and popsicles are $20 at crazy clarks.
if anyone wants to buy it i would be happy to hear any offers though. if i decide i 100% want to get rid of it ill put it up in the marketplace but otherwise if you/friends are interested just pm me and ill be sure to consider it :)

my brother cut up a double kicker. we cut the tails completely off. super mini slalom board and is sick to slash around on.
