LBL Sea Calf/Cow - Fullbag Elise - Jati Ninjati

Hi all.

I usually dislike posting these sorts of threads, and I've done some research on the fish before resorting to this, but these decks aren't extremely widespread, and was looking for some pros/cons of them if you can be bothered inputting your 2gnars.

I can't make up my mind, I'm leaning towards the Ninjati, and I found a dude on ASRA who has recently got one.

If you could share your thoughts on them, it'd be appreciated.

Thanks,

Jonty.

get a daddow
you heard the man

The safest way is to track one down like your trying to do and give it a test run.

I dont know of the boards your talking about but I hope you do find something new that not many are riding.

There are heaps of good boards out there that are not being given a go because guys just go with the safe tried and true options. (its a very trend based thing at the moment when choosing a board)

Dont be a sheep and just follow what everyone else is doing.

Ride as many as you can to get the feel of them, then you will not have to go off experiances from anyone that has riden that particular board as you will now be looking at lenghts, thicknesses, flex, concaves, drops, ETC to make your choice for YOUR perfect board.

Jonty, the only board I have ridden out of them is the Ninjati. It is a pretty rad board, with a fun concave. Usually I don't enjoy a concave so harsh on a topmount, but this was an exception. Good board.

Hey man, i got a Jati Ninjati not long ago and i use it mainly for downhill, the concave on is pretty huge, you either hate or you love it.

Where do you live, cause you could probably come down and give mine a go.

the sea cow has barely any concave,

the elise has a good solid concave

the ninjati has a MASSIVE concave with a tennis sized w at the back.

take your pick.

Cheers everyone. I don't know anyone with any of these boards, so it's hard to try lol.
I'm in rAdelaide, so I don't think I can test yours, but thanks for the offer.

I ride a hellcat, so I'm used to some fairly strong concave, which might rule out the LBLs. Does massive concave affect standie performance? Coz I do a fair bit of freeride. Also, I wonder whether the elise's gas pedals get in the way as they're placed so far up the deck.

i personally find harsh concave very difficult to standy on,

dont rule out the lbl, the little concave that it has does its job very well, and thats why so many people love it.

the gas pedals on the fb wont get in the way at all, they are absolutely inaccessable for any normal riding.

id say go with the fb.

Sea calf looks sick.
It probably is! I went with the Fullbag in the end. That way I can vary the wheelbase if I need to, and the concave isn't anything I haven't ever tried.

Merrick rode the Sea cow in Italy, ask him about it.
