ok, here is a step by step guide to making a simple concaved board:
1. get 3mm ply from where ever, like maybe 5 sheets
2. get a plank of wood and a thinner plank of wood then glue them together so that the smaller ones sides run paralell to the sides of the bigger plank (this is your mould)
3. liberally apply a crap load of wood glue (most of those white pva glues work fine) to each piece of 3mm ply then put them all together on the mould
4. (this bit takes time, so patience is necesary) clamp down the edges of the deck with as many G clamps as you can find and try to make sure that every bit of the board has some kind of pressure on it.
5. waiiiiit for about 24 hours
6. take it out of the press, cut it into your desired shape then drill the bolt holes using a truck as your guide
that is how i made my second ever board and i still ride it to this day...
robbie have you read through the silverfish and toothless sites yet they should explain it all..... a mold is a press btw
