Help a brother out!

Ok so Jacko has already explained about the global financial crisis and all that jazz. Well as some of you may know I am planning to attend and race at MaryHill's festival of speed this year and just like everybody else I need money to do it too. Now if people like Jackson and Leeso are having trouble getting sponsored just imagine the troubles I have been having. So I have to think outside the box a little bit and this is what I have come up with.

If I can accumulate $1000 through generous donations from the ASRA family I will skate down Adelaide's main freeway and get it all on film for you. Un-exciting you say, well.... what if I did it butt naked with nothing more than a helmet, gloves and a pair of shoes on to sweeten the deal? What would you say then? This hill reaches speeds between 90 and 100 KM/h, trucks are frequent on this road and I WILL pass them AND imagine if I was to fall off..... butt naked!

If my mathematical skills are still up to scratch each ASRA member only needs to donate somewhere between $3 and $10 (counting on the fact that some people are really cheap and wont pay!)

I have nothing to lose and everything to gain so I am posting this thread to see how much interest I can generate. If enough people are interested then we can go from there and I can put some bank details up. If you are willing to play along then maybe post up how much you are prepared to donate to this very good cause.

So C'mon and help a fellow Aussie skater out. It will only cost you a cup of coffee (or two) and I could be seriously injured!
