ASRA - Australian Skateboard Racing Association

I bought my deck pre-gripped (2nd hand), and I don't know a lot about griptape.
Mine's getting worn out and looking to get some more in the nearish future, so which is the best/grippiest company? Vicious looked alright.
I've also heard the Clark Rubber one is very gritty/grippy and also cheap, anyone had experience with it?

Cheers everyone.

well jessup doesn't handle speed very well, the dense amounts of sand causes extremely high levels of wind resistance, but im not sure, i will have to ask my dad, hes out of town and i will have to wait till hes home. Are you able to hold the question until hes home? im really interested in answering this question!
edger or viscous are the main brands i think? i've used both and they're awesome. moving from jessup to either one of those will be heaven.
vicious, thumb cutter....the stuff used on early boards... even the el cheapo 3M 1" thick edging tape is okay...and $4 a metre...
vicious is a bit more hardy than edger I've found.
hookin my heels and toes into standup slides made edger rip a bit but I got some vicious and dayum! feet are on for life and it doesn't rip so easy
Why not try gluing some of this stuff on?

It's cheap enough to be worth a try.

Haha!
Now I've heard it all.
In fact that's possibly the funniest shit I've ever heard on any skate forum.
$10 extra to answer the question now. I hope you're happy.

Yeah, looks like the good stuff, but around $50 to grip my whole Hellcat!

I think it is non-adehesive backed, and you need to buy a minimum 20 items lol. Unfortunate.
Jonty how is it $50 bucks to grip your hellcat.

ur not supposed to grip the bottom of the board as well.

one pack will do u fine. you wont have enough for the nose and tail, but unless u tuck on the trucks of ur hellcat, u dont need grip tape there
Yeah I thought it would be a good idea to grip the entire thing, which is why I would need two packs.

buy some cheap $5 glue, lather up your helcat in it (top only :D) put sand on it...
you dont need to grip the whole thing. you would have to cut around the drop thru cutouts, and then you would have som grip next to the trucks, which is useless unless your adam colton and like to do 300ft manuals

a demonseed's standing platform can be competely covered with one pack.
