Hey,

So i've got myself a new board, and the kebbek caften aka whoreboard has yet another owner. Does anyone have any suitable trucks for a mates first downhill board they wanna sell? Just some randals or something would be perfect. Happy to come pick em up if youre in brisbane or goldy. Cheers, conor.

2 left, more will be in in 2-3 weeks.

it would be best that you get him 35* or 42* degree trucks but preferable 35's. this works best with the wedging. too many times have i seen people running 50* trucks on a wedged board, it makes me really sad

Agreed, for serious downhill.
Yep thats what i used on it, 35s. He's got some on the way from Ado.
whats the point in getting a wedged board if you put a lower angled truck on it? the whole point of having a wedged nose is to get more turn from your front truck, if you 'de-wedge' with a lower angled baseplate why not get a flat board?
it makes me sad that it makes you sad about the whole 'wedge noses should be made flat' scenario... =(

i run positivly wedged 50's on my evo and omni, the back end of my evo has a dewedged 35 on it (i put a wedge riser on the back taking more turn outta it) and its absolutely amazing for DH, its the perfect go to board for new hills as its rock solid under foot and turns exactly where i want it to go, setup's like that suck unless your riding over 45 and feel great at 50+ for long runs stephen so dont get sad till you have ridden some DH yourself
i believe what stephen is trying to say is that if you wedged a already high degree truck you'd get very little leverage over it which makes total sense if you take a look at how the trucks looks like after you wedged it. It makes the ride really dead, and doesnt turn as much as you'd think it would. You run a low degree truck on a wedged board so that you can still have a relatively high pivot angle without it being overly wedged till you lose leverage over it yet still get a good lean-turn ratio.

sean, stephen shreds 10x harder and probably rides 100x more often then you, i think maybe you should take some advice from him about dh.
