ASRA - Australian Skateboard Racing Association

Both of these boards seem to be getting praised on the threads....

Which one would you purchase? I am the most indecisive / stoked person in brisbane right now.

Looking to hear from someone who's ridden both if possible! cheers

id go with the 925, its thinner, flexier, gas peddlier, and better quality of build imo...
however, the fsm is still a great board, you cant really go wrong
fsm. dunno why. they just feel better in general. and mad ass graphics
I HAVE!!!!

i love both sooo much

fsm was shorter and lighter

9two5 was stiffer, had a more effective concave and looks more badass imo
its true. the 9two5 is amazing
I have the 9two5........... So I'll say: RAYNE VENDETTA!!! he he he
I like to add more confusion :-)
was the 925 really stiffer???
the fsm i stood on was stiff as....
My girlfriend says: "I wish you were as stiff as your 9two5"

the fsm is beautiful and a great freerideing deck with them massive nose/tail. being a size 10 foot i found the rocker really nice, easy to find you step, wedging give's it a suprisingly nice turn for what looks like a clumsy deck. my only problem with this deck is its build qualaty, im not sure if they have addressed it but i bought mine about 7 months ago and broke it pretty quickly puming in a bowl but then im just under 90Kg's.... hope this helps...
but hey, looks awsome on the wall with the graphic...

I have an FSM and have ridden a 925 a couple of times.

I love my FSM. It does everything well. I have a size 9 foot though, and i feel like a size 10 or 11 would do the concave more justice. The 925's concave felt a little more fitting to a smaller foot. I loved every time i rode the 925. The rocker is noticeably deeper in the FSM, which is cool, it makes for a very comfy ride. Freeriding the rocker on the FSM is sweet, ive noticed rocker makes downhill a little different though, some might say awkward but i have no problems with it. FSM has more useable nose and kick if dance moves and manuals and shovits are what whets your whistle. 925 was slightly stiffer than the FSM, but not enough to make any practical difference. Durability is weird with the FSM, ive chipped the nose on tiny gutter hits (glued down no worries), but on big slams its held up well and didnt look like cracking. I cant work it out.

Both really similar boards. Flip a coin, go with whatevers cheaper, or you like the graphic more on. You'll love either.
our dollar is really strong against the us, so now is the time to order, i got my FSM from the comet website for 300 AU complete and posted with randals and stims http://www.cometskateboards.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_i...
no sh*t!? I'm going to check that right away! Oh I love this American economical crisis ;-)
