what do you mean fitz the same sort of board i would ride it but wouldnt it be heavy and destructive in a crash??

Na dude.
I plan on doing a super light foamcore style pan, similar to Rayne Deelites with aluminium heads.
Strong enough to cater for hefty dudes like you too.
Break resistant. Not brake proof!

No confirmed price as yet however I'm aiming to keep it legit. Try my best to keep it close to average speedboard price.

Could you bolt the pan to the top of the heads to make it into a pseudo top-mount? Just for a bit of extra versatility?

Sneak preview. 41.5" x 10" 33.5"wb. (1" shorter than demonseed) After doing design analysis I reckon the deck pan with heads (less trucks wheels bearings etc) will weigh in around 1.6kg
Not as light as a foamcore but mine won't explode on impact!
Just for the record the all metal one (shown in photo with pink wheels) weighed in at a whopping 4kg deck only!!!
Epic failure.

Fitz,

Dave Rogers rides one of his metal decks in races, weighs about the same as yours and he wins a lot. Think it might be a bit of psychology though as noone wants Dave coming down at them from behind on that tank so they let him go in front. Smart race tactic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
