Can't afford to take my longboards home! Help!

Hey guys! I have a BIG problem!
I mailed my old flight company, the one I came with, and asked about how I can take my 5 longboards (12kg) back to Sweden. They said I had to pay... listen now....
630euro = 1075aud extra!!!!!!!

It's no chance I can afford that, It's cheaper to sell all the boards and buy new one's....
This is bullshit, it must be a cheaper and better way to do this..?
What do you guys do with your boards when you're flying overseas?

ehhhh....

send most of em by sea and just take one board on the plane?
Davie:
I don't wanna sell my boards. I loose money that way. For example the Dancer costs over 800aud in Sweden... Same big price difference for wheels, trucks and anything else....

Bugs:

Yeah, I'll have a look on that right now! It's best to send the shit soon so I can use it before the Swedish summer ends. Cuz if I get the boards in late August the summer I already close to over and the rain and snow is slowly taking over...
So take your fave board back with you so you can ride it and ship the rest back so you can still keep it for next year.
in may.

Gabriel when do you head off?
what about those old man army bags stuff it in their and wulah its just another bag, u get to pay a little extra fro going over the weght limit but i doubt it will be like that ridiculous price
btw id do everything u could not to allow the wooden decks to be seen, counttries can have funny views in their customs procedures,
also i wouldn't take the trucks in as handl uggage theirs half a chance customs will confiscate them for being weapons (because there metal,)
