Do you mean push out I am doing that but dont wnt to damage them will see that happen over time
Puting them is easy geting them out with axle bit iffy
Use one of these, http://www.hopkin.com.au/reflex-utili-tool.html
or
an 8mm bolt to work them up/out.
Put the axle through the bearing only 5mm through the other side. Just estimate it as you can't see it inside the wheel. Slowly lean the wheel outwards, working it around in a gradual circle. Once you have done it a few times you will 'feel' it and do it really quickly (check youtube for bearing change videos if this description doesn't help)
Try This

You usually don't actually need to hit it with a hammer, unless it is really stuck.
just push it out by hand.
Cone nuts you say.
Got any chalky wheels left. Mine are so worn that I can get a grind on flat concrete!
Thats great Bernie,
but what if his wheels aren't green? Will it still work?
**headbutts wall**
Not sure, only ever tried it on green wheels.
Seriously, position the wheel onto the axle so that it goes through only one bearing, then push down on the outside edge of the wheel, if the bearing doesn't pop out on your first attempt, just keep wiggling it back and forth.

Even less chance of damaging the bearing than Bernies method, and tool free/bench free.
if your really worried about prying it out with the axle, use a flathead nail, slip it in, hook the inner race with the head of the nail and pull. Same principle as a bearing press.
use the end of your truck , st it halfway and apply pressure to the in/outside of the wheel
