Axle floats between 2 solid rubber bearings either side of the hanger.
Squishy!
that aint cool, i was hoping it was a downhill truck stronger than the bomber not the opposite

they don't even have a proper downhill board available to the public let alone downhill trucks.

I can see the advantage of something like this, for really rought roads.
Would need to be a more perfected design, but i can see an idea...

definitely an interesting concept. sort of like shock suspension am i right? i wonder how that would affect the performance if it were introduced into a downhill oriented truck. would it be more stable or less stable at speed? would it make cornering smoother or sketchier?
definitely something that i'm sure will be experimented in the near future.
once you get your idea rollin, move overseas hahahha

Exactly, Shockies for your skatie ;)
I think im going to buy a set just to have a look at them.
I just sketched up a design, and i see a concept that is plausable. :)
Grombiz move over, a new pointless idea is taking over :) hahahaha

If you want a soft ride, go all out. like this design by Dr Gofast, he won the Streets of San Fran big air on his suspension luge.
If the rubber/urethane ends are firm enough I reckon they'd be stable at speed.

Just for the record Eric won at Newtons last year on a chopped down sector top-mount.
these trucks are made by gullwing not sector 9 or are they the same company, went to the gullwing site and there is no mention of these trucks

yeah billabong owns them all, as well as dregs i think
they are for shock absorbing, making the ride a lot smoother, getting rid of chatter in the wheels, and apparently meant to allow more more traction through corners as there is less chatter due to the added dampening. yes they are downhill trucks, gullwing chargers and bombers are both designed for racing on, as all the sector 9 riders use them for racing. i think i saw some proto types of these trucks last year, JM had some and im sure he will busting them out at newtons this year, same with DudeBro
