Skate Board race in conjunction with the Upwey Billy Cart Races.

250mtr course with bales.

Race format to be confirmed.

Down hill race - (beginner friendly) 4 person heats?

Possible 101 cone challenge?

Possible longboard GS event.

will need helpers for race organisation.

Good GS racing on a slippery road.
The local Councillor loved it, and wants us back next year, but we will have to wait 4 years for hot mix. Have made a good impression and established communications with council, so lets hope a few other roads will be closed just for downhill skating events.

Comment by Hambo on February 25, 2012 at 19:47: Events like this sponsored by council etc usually have strict requirements regarding safety gear and parents/guardians because of insurance related hoo ha. Best to bring full kit just in case. If youre a grom hook up with a friends parent and see if they can take responsibility for you for the day.
