jeeesus, cant believe how much attention this billycart argument has caused. lol it turned from a fairly neutral argument to quite a spirited one haha! good read anyway. the way i see it, you cant have too much of a good thing, downhill sports are just starting off and to start a civil war at this stage is quite ridiculous! enjoy your sport, play hard, play safe

Full turnout for the biggest national downhill SKATEBOARDING event in Australia EVER - Get hyped ... this is going to be better than ... bathurst ? lol !

PLEASE GUYS PAY ATTENTION TO THE FACT WE ARE VISITORS AT THE PUMP STATION - Pay attention to parking, noise, litter and the local residents
Can I also suggest that people bring some first aid kits - we have had some good slams recently at meets and lots of betadine and bandages is never a bad thing.

While I have everybody's attention, I'd like to mention one simple but important rule for the day:

One-way riding on the road only! The steep side is out of bounds!

For those who haven't been there, the race course ends in an uphill runout that continues on up a short, straight, but very steep hill. While it will be tempting to climb that hill to session it, this would result in head-on collisions with on-coming racers when both are at maximum speed. It's totally unsafe.

We're gonna be very strict about this rule - no exceptions.

Now who's being insulting and demeaning Robbo. I think we used to say it was a case of "the pot calling the kettle black".

Let's get this straight Robbo, I'm being neither insulting or demeaning, nor am I demanding. If you want to see it that way then again that is only your opinion. Now so far we've been accepted by the street lugers. I reckon I understand your organisation pretty well. Perhaps you could take the time to study the workings of Gravity Bikes a little more closely. Maybe I and the rest of the Billycart Racers could see you coments as insulting and demeaning,I'd rather see them as the ravings and whinnings of someone badly informed. My final coment to you and your's is if you don't grow and diversify the sport of gravity racing it will implode and die. Remember when skateborders and street lugers were considered suicidal idiots. Let good sense prevail don't make the same mistakes that were made in the past. I wish you success with your event and hope it's as good as the luge blokes WSS.
