Event Description

We are bringing back the original 'Grom-Bomb' event, but seeing as there are so many grom shredders these days we need to let some of the newbies pick up the pace. It will be at the same place we had the Grom Bomb Splashdown (click link for write-up/video).

This is a race for all the new-comers and beginners to downhill skateboarding that are looking at getting into events but want to start out easy. The race will be on a mellow bike path with smooth pavement, very mellow grade and speeds of around 40-50km/h. There is a run-out at the bottom however there is one right hand corner that you will need to slow down for, but it is a very mellow turn.

this event is where the grom bomb started! one day we figured we would give all the newbie kids their own race on a very small little pathway, something as an introductory race. Now that the scene has grown and the grom bomb is much bigger its hard for the newbies to have a go because all these groms are shredders now! so lets get back to the basics, back to the small hill and have another race for the new wave of newbies and learners.

i hope your asking for the sake of the other people Brandon, because this is a NOVICE race... for people who are very very new. It will not be a big event with heaps of people, when we figure out what numbers we will post it up
