We are bringing back the original 'Grom-Bomb' event, but seeing as there are so many grom shredders these days we need to let some of the newbies pick up the pace. It will be at the same place we had the Grom Bomb Splashdown (click link for write-up/video).
This is a race for all the new-comers and beginners to downhill skateboarding that are looking at getting into events but want to start out easy. The race will be on a mellow bike path with smooth pavement, very mellow grade and speeds of around 40-50km/h. There is a run-out at the bottom however there is one right hand corner that you will need to slow down for, but it is a very mellow turn.

dunno when the video is coming out, i was at the top of the hill busy organising the race, unfortunately did not get a chance to film any of it. if there were kids there filming i suggest they edit the footage themselves and post it up for everyone. someone sent me some footage but unfortunately i do not have any time to edit any of it at all, im busy with Newtons Footage.
the next event will be in a few weeks, not sure. we will throw it together when we get some time. it will not be as big (as far as prizes go) because it will just be an event for those who missed out due to the weather
1st got a sector 9 bob marley revolution complete and a hat
2nd-6th got black modus bearings and a hat
Muddiest kid got a sector 9 (not sure which model)

yeah same as me max, except a dog ran infront of me, the lady just ignored jacko and couldn't be fucked to put her dog on the leash and let it run infront of me causing me to have to swerve around it and lose my heat, but oh well theres always next time
