Event Description

think Shred the thread but better!

run will feature a large banked slash on a massive driveway, small but fast grass ride, a do or die steep hill, butter smooth pavement for mondo standies, 0 cars and several drift cones to navigate.

did i say it was steep and buttery.

Race Format

a 2 man racing down outlined course in a 32 man opens format.

Rego

$10, a max of 32 riders, one division only.

Prizes

prize $$$ for top 3 riders and a Fibretec Board for 1st + ASRA downhill points

this also the first chance to win a wildcard entry into the ALLSTARS OUTLAW weekend later in the year which will see Australia's best outlaw riders race over 2 days on 3 hills. for 3 x ASRA points and a Swag of major prizes and $$$.

Warning

the hill is VERY busy during the week, even after office hours, do not skate it prior to race, unless on Sunday, or face serious atomic wedgys, thats where i yank your grotty undies over your head. if we can keep it to a Sunday session spot it will pay off for every one.

ASRA Admin Comment by Bugs on October 22, 2012 at 20:03: It's a downhill race with 2-man heats on a course which has a few cones and obstacles and stuff to go around. Nothing like regular slalom. Pretty much downhill. The course will make you slide at speed to get through it.
