i did my first aid last year , so am set ...
also riff raffy been talking to chig , she's still keen as for an easter ride...

So right about the first aid I do mine on the 17th of April. The mechanical nature of Andy and Gritz in emergancy situations is a god send. Thanks to them from the bottom of my heart. Also Id just like to add a good sweep of the track can't be underestimated.

Regarding Daz's accident, Sakamoto and Grits were amazing and I learnt allot from them on how to manage a downhill emergency. They worked together as a team, directed the rest of us crew, organised a butt board for a spinal lift, kept Daz conscious, worked with Duff to have an ambulance meet us. I am thinking I need to get my first aid certificate. Great feeling to know we ride with crew who are calm, confident and knowledgeable in an emergency.

went brilliantly!!!
is great , not the best place to ride, not a very good slope , but still good :)
very responsive, am scared of breaking iit after my 'solid' one lol

Thanks Tim and Tam, was a brilliant weekend. Excellent people, roads and countryside. Thanks you to everyone who helped with Daz, shows that "Family" is always there. DEFINATELY be back again!!! Well done, Riff!!!!!

dropped off news reports about 11am Monday

1:30pm Sunday 21 March 2010 - Luge driver injured in accident
The ACT Ambulance Service has transported a man to hospital in a stable condition with minor injuries after a two vehicle accident at Tharwa.

The patient was operating a street luge on Naas Road when the accident occurred just before midday.

The man was met by an ambulance at Banks after initially being driven towards hospital in a private vehicle.
