I've never been to Townsville before, but here's what I've figured out.

There's a shload of accommodation in the centre of town (big red circle). There's also a bunch of motels in Rosslea (medium red circle). The turn-off to the race location is marked by the smallest red circle.

Anybody from Townsville can add some detail to this?

it was discussed among a number of skaters at the snowys that there has been little feedback or conformation in regards to registrations, is there a riders list that can be published online?
