Wondering what is the best freeride/ sliding board to get?

I can't decide on what board i want for sliding and freeriding ? I have a sad vault dropdown freeride board but i need something new ?
I've looked at fibretec flying pan 960drop and omen carbon matrix , landyachtz dropspeed, or anything with a drop and lots of beautiful concave.?
Suggestions?

i suggest the search tab at the top right corner of the page. every week there is five of these discussions about freeride boards and/or wheels
Kk thanx
Seriously dude all those boards you just mentioned are amazing. The fibretec doesn't have an aggressive concave as the omen or nemmy but its super light and very well made. The omen and nemmy are pretty much the same board. Though the omen doesnt have sharp rails and comes with grooves for easy grip during toeside predrifts and early grabs (expensive too but its a foamcore). Switchblade/switch has deep concave but to use it fully you have to take a wider stance to get your feet into the deep pockets. If you have smaller feet, smaller stance - Isis, FP compact, daddow y-120 etc etc long story short there are heappppppssss of good freeriders/sliders have fun looking through them all ahaha
look up the nelson spindrift, it is pure seks
That is a sick board - is Steve up and running again?
thats nice and i think i chose the rayne nemesis cause its a really good deck , but definitely need new trucks i have crappy vault trucks , wich one? paris 180 , caliber, randal, bear 852s, or gullwing. thanks for the info on decks too , im soughta new like ive only been riding since this year and longboarding owns any other board sports i rekon,
suggested trucks for nemesis is paris 195 due to the wide hanger, check the motionboardshop youtube video on the nemesis. Very helpful vid, and apparently if u order from rayne, u can ask to have it dropthrough
Seriously the vault trucks (i'm assuming RKP) ie the frandals feel exactly the same as normal randals (geometry is the same - hell the bushing seat is the same)- though you may feel a bit cheaper riding them. If you swap out their bushings for nicer ones you wouldn't know the difference. But if you are hell bent on new trucks any of those will do. Though if I had a choice sabres or calibre 44's for all round do anything deck ;)

not quite

i was cruising on a flat with vault Frandals, and for no apparent reason, the kinpin snapped, sending me off, and breaking my scafoid...

dont trust poo...

get calibers..
