Do early blueys, the light formula, get better when they r fully broken in because they feel a bit icy at the start?

wondering if early blueys, the light formula, get les icy and more controllable for like bigger slides and faster speeds because I have recently bought a set but haven't like worn them down at all and r finding them icy.
