hey all - I was wondering if anyone here has any experience in restoring fibreglass boards?  Any recommendations for fibreglass repair shops in Sydney that might be able to help?  Thanks

Hi Paul

Depending on how much needs to be done, if you can show some pics of what you need, and a let me know how bad it is, i may be able to help.

Cheers

Custom Boards

Thanks Mark.  I had another look at the board (it's not mine) and I don't think it'll be worth restoring after all.  Too banged up around the nose area.  Shame ....

Take care

Thats Cool

Would love to see some pics Post a few up on the retro page, Unfortunately a lot of that style of deck G&S Bahne etc are far to gone after 40 years, all the kids back in the day loved the flex so pushed with there foot right in the centre , boingboing boing down the street .

To banged up.
Never to banged up to fix.

If its just a case of nose damage it can always be repaired to make the board functional and practical again.

If you're after natural aesthetics and collectible value than it might not be worth paying good coin to restore however its not hard to repair if looks don't matter too much.
