ASRA - Australian Skateboard Racing Association

Keep an eye out for the feature story on A Current Affair tomorrow night.

'Skateboard hooligans, morons with a death wish'

I did an interview today with ACA will be interesting to see how it goes on the cutting room floor. From the title I assume its gonna be a massacre.

not sure if that's direct but you should just be able to click the story if not

hahaha.what were they thinking!!!thanks mitch!

just to through an idea into the mix: if we made a nation wide collaboration doco style video detailing who we are what we do and our situation and plaster it all over the net cony2012 style we might reach more people than the biggots at ACA have a hope of doing.

Anyone in a car that tries to mess with you on the road during the next couple of weeks, get the number plate.

Use your go pro if you got one.

Strange feature.. it starts out criticising skaters, then turns into a long teaser.  They're all 'its so dangerous' on the surface but there's so many clips of guys having a mad time that is more of a 'best of longboarding'.  The cop and that other woman were so lame you could hardly take them seriously.  And what kind of journalism is it that is just a lot of cut and paste youtube vids?   Maybe it would get some peoples back up, but I bet there's more that would be wishing they had the balls to skate after seeing that.

A freeborder makes it onto national TV, that's a first surely. Ben Lyons reppin it on Cootha.

Not the first time these sorts of shows have used youtube clips to base a story off. Take this fine example of street drifitng in Australia by today tonight:

Their research is so poor that they couldn't even figure out that the clip they were using was not only filmed in Japan but the cars were also driven by professional drifters. You can't take the stories they make seriously...

Whoah James! That is pretty insane, they ran a report and weren't even in the right bloody country! HAHA

I thought the story was OK. Some funny footage in there, some good footage in there, Krimes even got in! Laughable reporting. Was a bit of fun I reckon, ''at break neck speeds!''

You should post this photo on their facebook. We should all get on their facebook and start shit! Hundreds of skaters mobbing their social media sites, could be fun!

O wait, it's already happening...

Just watched it now.....

Yeah sweet thanks ACA, more police on our favourite runs that we had kept quiet, to give us more fines and more verbal sprays for doing something we love that is statistically safer than driving. Loving life.

You have been told. Now stop being Lunatics and go and skate in a safe place.

Was not that bad a story realy, they promoted ASRA / Robbo in a good light. They even blamed most of it on the groms! There is a lot worse footage posted up then what they showed.
