ASRA - Australian Skateboard Racing Association

Words cannot describe how angry i am with them atm, they are so slack! All their products just seem to become damaged or lost in the mail- my longboard arrived cracked and my kneepads didnt even show up! at least make an effort to bubble wrap your stuff like any decent skate shop would..

Has anyone else had a problem with boardshop?

i have had no issues with my 4 seperate orders from them....everything arrived..and it was here within 2 days.

Sorry to hear that pineapple.. quite dissapointing

I order from boardshop more then I do from hopkin and i rather boardshop a whole lot more..

Why is that? Hop and Ado are some of the nicest skateboard shop owners on the planet,

i needed my trucks by friday, ordered on the sunday. said they posted them on tuesday. then they email me on friday saying they they are out of stock...

Ive always had good things from boardshop, dont see any point in changing when they havent screwed anything for me, but yer thats just me.

i've had problems with boardshop before, they're a bunch of tards, a set of bushings took weeks and many phonecalls, ordered an indo board from them a while back and it took over a week and many phonecalls before they even sent anything.

there have been times when i've ordered from hop in the late arvo and got my stuff early the next day, never had a problem with em, great bunch of people. same goes with Ado, even though he's all the way up in townsville, usually only takes 1-2 days, great bloke. also Hop and Ado put a lot of money back into the scene, boardshop do not, support the people who support you.

Ordered pads and they came in the wrong size. Ordered bushings and they sent me the wrong ones. Live 30 mins away so drove there to get them swapped, walked in and the dude just stood there looking at me for about 5 minutes til i finally said umm can you help me? Never shopped there again. Got stuff from Hop interstate that was quicker and cheaper. They suck.

dont buy boardshop

buy Cre8ivesk8

tony from boardshop has clearly shown that the only reason which he runs the store is money off skaters..

When you juxtapose tony with Ado from cre8ive, we see that tony does not support the scene at all, and can only get sales through undercutting other Australian shops with lower prices. He can only do this due to the fact that he doesn't have to account for the costs of running a physical shop, and is only an internet distributer...

Ado on the other hand has, since the roots of downhill in australia, supported the scene through distribution, sponsorships, give-aways, financial support, and i-owe-yous..

I heard tyler hampson, one of the founders of streetluge in brisbane say the other day that if ado were to pull up a list of all the ioweyous that he has given out, he would be a very rich man..

for relevance, email boardshop about what happened to you... and if they dont reply, spam their facebook profile...

Yeah, both Ado and Hop support the scene. Social media is becoming the leading medium for advertising and product/service review.  If you put up anything negative on most stores' facebook page, they will do anything and everything to get it sorted so they don't look like tools.  Although, boardshop might just delete your post... in which case, get everyone to spam them!

I spoke to my mum's partner about it (The one who bought the kneepads). Apparently it came to the mailing depot all rippped up and in an awful condition. He has spoken the people at Boardshop and they have sent a new pair out, about two weeks late.. huge relief.

yeah i try to buy from hemleys in melbourne, but they dont stock the 187 pro pads. and boardshops cheap pricing is very, very tempting at times!
