Hey Guys,

Is there an option for deleting added content,(eg: wrong/old photo/video), on your own page. Sorry if there is an explanation that I've missed but a "site guide" or FAQ about using the site might be an idea. Thanks in advance

Hey Dad, anything you've added can be deleted. There's usually a small "X" at the top-right of any content item - it's the "Delete" button for that content item. If it's a photo or video you might have to go to the page for that photo/video and click on the "Options" button on that page to get the "Delete" option.

The old "Options" button hey,.... doh!.... didn't f%#kn see that! Thx. Nice site by the way Bugs.

i never get my email for confirmation after the 3rd attempt and its not in junk

George, yeah, that's a nice idea, but don't think such an option exists with the software we're using. I know something like it's been proposed before, so maybe somebody'll code it.

Maybe in the Marketplace instead of having the "send email" (which doesn't work...) you can just reply to the thread like on these forums for all to see. If you need to ask for pics or something you can just hit the "comments" or "reply to thread" button and presto, old mate posts the pics up!

reached a point where i cant really use it as the site expels my sign on with every change of window - posting - following links - going back etc

deleted cookies, auto complete and the security is set to accept the site

using IE 8 on a net book running XP

it is really getting in hte way of inviting people and comunicating as a lot of people arent using fb

any ideas?

The old market place was like that, it was messy, very messy, that's why it changed over, now it's very clean.  The button usually works, but just pm the person if you need to.  If they do not post up pics, it's their loss, I don't even think about buying if they don't have them, unless it is brand new...

Hey Boyd it must be your something with your IE settings as I use this site from 4 different PCs and with multiple different browsers and operating systems all with no issues, although I rarely use IE. Only probs I have is logging in with iphone when security is up too high. Try using Google Chrome I find it the fastest and most reliable.

Have you cleaned out all your cookies, history, temp files, passwords and form data, might have a bad file in there... I run the site from XP on a notebook with IE7 and have never had a problem.

If you just flush it, knowing windows, it will probably work again.

Maybe you are private browsing at a high security level which might be removing cookies each time you change page. A good start is to use anything but IE in all situations, not just with ASRA

changed to chrome

no drop outs thank you!
