ASRA - Australian Skateboard Racing Association

OK so if youve seen my otherpost 'Why to wear your helmet' you may have seen this photothis happened because my slide gloves are home made (gardening gloves with thick plastic chopping board pucks) so when i stacked it last weekend in bello my glove ripped off and as you can see my arm was caught underneath me (hectic gravel rash on my arm and left side). Now i want to invest in some proper slide gloves particularly interested in either the loaded race gloves or the lush race gloves. Does anyone own a pair and can give me some feed back on these gloves mainly for the nuckle protection and sweet looks :)

Lush race gloves are great i recommend these or Sector nine BHNC gloves are also heaps sick.
only kooks need finger pucks. the landyachtz gloves are great, leather is good quality, comfortable, cheap and long lasting

Wow. Bad advice Imo.

Landyachtz are the worst for freeriding. They are just a leather glove.

I have loaded freeride and they get shredded also. Not leather, and the fabric tears.

Loaded race are allright, i would recommend lush race. Cheaper, and look well made.

JUST MY OPINION/EXPERIENCE

when i order im going to flip a coin
or you could try em all on....
i live 6 hours out of sydney, there are no longboarding shops anywhere around my place and there is only one other DH rider near me who is over seas i swear to god i have fuckin looked everywhere around my area and no one does Dh it sucks coz i cant race anyone or get tips

I didn't recommend finger pucks.
And if you would read the first page, you would see connor saying his tore in about one day of freeriding and now have a giant hole.

I recommended Lush race- No fingers.

for freeriding, timeships. dh lush is the best imo
when landyachtz gloves get sweaty for lon periods of time the leather just becomes stiff and crappy. get those brianne davies timeship gloves
also try sector 9 surgeons. you may need to buy some pucks for them a coulpe weeks after you get them, but i think they are a good glove and they have some extra protection over the knuckles

Bro. Try some Sector9 surgeon gloves or Sector9 BHNC

The surgeons are leather and well lasting, the BHNC are fabric with kevlar weave in some areas.

Both rad!! I use both!! All other gloves are good.. but these are great.

Rayne.... Nothing more to be said.
gloves are gloves... whats important is the pucks you have on your gloves. The Slippery Dip Pucks are what you want to be falling on, not the gloves themselves.
