Hi, Im an artist living in Sydney, and I have recently begun looking into "tatooing" skateboard decks with custom graphics. Essentially, images are "etched" into the decks, over the exsisting graphics. My profile pic is of one of the trials. The designs are not "lazer engraved", they are hand drawn then hand etched into the deck. What I would like to know is, would there be anyone interested in such graphics on their deck? Ideally, there would be a fee attached to the artwork etc, but at this stage I wanna put it out there and see if there is a general interest in this concept. If you would like to discuss ideas and artwork etc, please let me know. Thanks in advance, WEz

Hey Tom,
Im not too sure about leathers...
Im keen to find out what sort of artwork you were speaking of when you mentioned "surf art".
If you have something in mind, let me know, I would love to sketch up some stuff just as samples etc. to see if I can do the style you have in mind- it will also challenge me and push my art.

being not the greatest artisit i don't have many works my self
however if u look on this site and click on Damian Fulton
he is one on my favourites

Hey Tom,
I ust went to that link...THANKS HEAPS! with my head filled with inspiration and a hand keen to draw, I went to the sketchpad. I have to agree with you, I love the style of DF! The over proportioned features are indeed something I also love adding into drawings from time to time....Check it out....
Let me know what you think. For anyone else out there, I'de love to do more of this style if you are keen to see it engraved into your deck!
