ASRA - Australian Skateboard Racing Association

Recently got a timeline from boardshop but I've noticed there this crack which has been filled with a clear epoxy (underneath the graphic) - was wondering if this is normal practice or was I sold a blemished model? The area where the "crack" reaches the tip has a small build up of residual finish.

Most of all is the strength of the deck compromised is anyway?

that will fiddle with how well it deals with carves bro. epoxy is a brittle material. unless theres a stack monkey worth of fibreclass in there its not the best. small cracks fine but that looks big. sell it! sell it NAO

my timeline has the same thing, don't worry about it, it's fine.
Just let them know that you have a deck which looks like a crack filled. Keep the email sent, ride it then if it cracks after normal use try hit'n them up for a newby. I don't think there's warranty with any decks sold , dunno correct me if I am wrong. It might make it better with the fill job.
Sweet thanks guys
Every dervish ever sold has a crack in it filled with resin running the whole length of the deck. If you don't believe me check your mates dervish now. Timelines often have a similar thing and I've never seen any of them fall apart.

Its a bamboo thing. It's hard to concave and convex vertical laminated bamboo without it splitting a little down the middle
both of my holesom's have it  carbon ss and regualar hemp ss
i wouldn't worry

Thats cool- just seemed out of place to me but I trust the opinions on asra so I'm have no beef.
