Hey everyone..i am currently in having a bit of a dilemma here.
im unsure whether to make a round foot stop ( like the ones made from bushings)
or
an actual shaped one, such as this one http://www.skateboardracing.org.au/photo/gedc0360-1?xg_source=activity
i have never used a foot stop before, so could u guys give me some pro's and cons of each type.
much appreciated, cheers guys

Bushing is less restrictive.
Also putting a chunk of wood on your board weighs it down.
And you have to find a piece of wood then cut it out then shape it etc etc
all you need for a bushing is some spare bushing lying around and a longer bolt. Only wasted 5 minutes if you don't like it.
And if you feel the desire to freeride or do a 180 you won't be stuck with a constrictive piece of wood. Just a bushing which will guide your foot to the pockets.
thanks for the advice guys. after reading all of your comments, i think i shall go with a bushing foot stop or just cut a round one out of some thick plastic that i have lying round..
cheers
