Are Vault Longboards any good ?

I found a site that seems to only stock a particular type of board called Vault , since they are pretty cheap i wanted to know if it would be worth while ?

my first board was a vault.
it was all i needed for the first 8 odd months of learning how to longboard.
i learnt how to do basic freeriding on it and light downhill. on a like 200 dollar set up.
so if this is your first board i would say for the price you may aswell get it, because they are good enough to get started on, but then gradually build up your gear and swap to a propper set up.

Te Vault Dropthrough is great for sliding and freerididing. But its not that great at dh though.

Ive got a vault 40 and have been bombing huge hills with it and have had no problems its super stable super fast sweet concave and awesome in the corners so if your a beginner i would definatly recommend this board but as everyone is saying you will want to up grade after a while say 5-6 months i would say go with a Daddow board the Praxis would be your best bet.

the vault 40 has a positive wedged nose which isn't ideal for downhill but makes it more suited to carving. And alexander in your pic you are grabbing stinkbug dude, try having your arm outside your rear leg when grabbing the rail. Unless the photo is taking the piss in which case don't worry haha. and I am selling a vendetta deck if anyone wants a cheap excellent quality freeride board

Buy something that will cost around $300 and will last you. I could set up a dilligaf for around that much, maybe cheaper and you could ride it forever.
