fibretec stuff is very well made. better quality than other 'high end' brands. Ive had a few fibretec boards in the past. All very light, very strong. worth the cash.
Don't hold ur breath. Rayne stock is hard to come by. Crocco has a better graphic anyway. Plus is comes in 3 different sizes so u have more options to suit the style. Fibertec wins over Rayne any day both in construction, looks, diversity and soul
I have a t
imeline and it is amazing for carving and cruising but sliding not so much.
The style of sliding you would learn on a timeline would be so different from the motion you want to do on bigger boards that it wouldn't help.
Like my brother learned on an apex 37 and said trying to slide his switch was like learning all over again because instead of just leaning so far the wheels lost traction he actually had to push the wheels out.
The timeline is the same; i love mine but sliding on it is completely different to sliding on my Killswitch for example. And the only type of slides i can confidently do on a timeline are mini heelsides; it is completely assymetrical; even the camber and concave differ from front to back.
