how fast r u going when u try to slide? soft wheels are just as easy to slide on, sometimes kicking it out is a little more difficult tho... make sure u carve into ur slides so u can push i out better...
if youre a newb try going 30-40km's an hour while youre learning to slide.. start with shut downs and work your way up and go to colemans. if you're trying to slide while going really slow , your wheels just won't want to slide!
shut downs and colemans?
sliding will happen on ANY wheel. its just the amount of work andd/or push you need to get em slideways varies. you can do it just ask your friends or watch youtube vids then PRACTICE YOUR FACE OFF
the faster u go the better they will slide ;)
learn to footbreak, problem solved!

just like my friend, he can kick out and suck in a heelside hands down. BUT HE CANT FOOT BREAK LOLOLOLOLL

FootBRAKING

FootbrEAKing is what would happen to your foot if it got caught in a pothole while footbrAKing at high speed. It would put you in hospital.

Braking: stopping/decelerating

Breaking: fracturing/snapping/severing (e.g. http://www.skateboardracing.org.au/photo/leggnar1-1?xg_source=activity)

Thankyou.

Sincerely,

Also: Depending on exact compound, soft wheels will often slide very rough with a lot of vibration/grinding

if its round slide it

My mate and I learned to slide on 77a big zigs and 80a 4 prez. Not too hard if you keep to it :)

We are doing super slow soft wheel slides now :)

Cheers Dave, you saved me the trouble of writing that.

Listen to Dave and try harder with the sliding.

Go to youtube and look up videos on how to slide.

Learn to footbrake, it may just save your life one day.
