ASRA - Australian Skateboard Racing Association

Im considering making a bulk order of polycarbonate and wanted to see if there was more then enough interest for me to start making them for others.

At the moment, Price for a visor shipped are as follows.

Clear Custom Visor - $25 shipped*

Clear Bell Drop - $20 shipped*

Tint Custom Visor - $35 shipped*

Tint Bell Drop - $30 shipped*

*For a standard helmet between 500g - 2kgs
$5 extra for helmets that exceed that weight.

**-$5 for pick up. SCBS, hopkins or Campbelltown

Its obvious that a tinted visor is more expensive then a clear visor.

For a custom visor, the helmet is to be posted to or collected by myself.
Ill only cover the cost of posting the helmet with visor back all other cost are covered by you.

I can collect helmets and payments afew MOTH on the 29th of January.

Colour : Tint or clear

Mounting : internal or external*

*applies to bell drops only.

Im not trying to make heaps of money out of it, postage is already ~25% of the prices and the material is very expensive. Labour cost and electricity are all that is left.

The material is 3mm polycarbonate, all visors will be rounded on the edges unless otherwise.

Protective plastic will be left on the visor to prevent damage during transit.

All visors will have a little engravement on the edge.

pretty good mate, have you done any flip up visors for the bell drop yet? pics?
good to see someone finally doing this in oz, huge gap in the market for bell drop flipable visors
Havent tried a bell drop flippable but ill be happy to make one for show. It should be alot easier then a MX helmet since its more rounded. All the mx helmet visors you can see are flippable.

Hey Rob, you've already seen my interested expression. It's the one with the the left eyebrow slightly raised and one finger on chin.

If you've got one ready to go for a Medium size Drop, could you bring it to MOTH? For now, clear is ok if that's all you've got and I can grab a tinted later.

I've also got James for a medium bell as well. I wont have any stock before MOTH sadly but you can grab Deannes visor off hers and shove it on your helmet and have afew runs with it.

Yes the vital visors so far has saved me from small rocks hitting my face and for future should save me from an insect going in my eye! arghh.. that was horrible. Thanks :D

Rob you gotta find a way to fix concave in the rjays haha. (my sisters one) two concaves gives it funny view like you're tripping out and going high, making the road look like its poping up at you or a ditch in the road which I personally can't stand compared to me bell.

The bell drop is all good since theres no wave or concave or anything, just nice and rounded.

oh and yes flippable visor is possible.. I'm sure Rob will get around to making them.. his only just begun
