Hey y'all,

Has anyone skated the roads down to the taronga zoo ferry dock?

Am i slightly crazy proposing this? Are there unimaginable amounts of traffic?

I was just checking it out on google maps and it looked kinda cool. Would it be possible to skate there after the zoo closes and the major traffic disappears.

Thanks

yeah its not a bad chill run from spit junction all the way to the zoo... its not the most epic run so battling with traffic is not worth it. i suppose you can do it after dark but yeah it wouldnt be anything to write home about

Hmmm well I might just try it out one day when i'm nearby.

It's not that fast , you can do it when it's closed but it's funer on closing. Japanese tourist are stoked as another photo op arises.
II've skated it a couple of times on the weekend during the day and it was fine. Surprisingly little traffic.
That bradleys Head, there is also a cool run with a couple of hairpins down to Clifton Gardens reserve.

I skated a small hairpin just off the zoo run with a walking spot back to the top.

Halfway down u turn left, and follow that road for about 3mins driving. and you will see the hairpin.

I found it a fun little jam spot, really safe
