Sydney Downhill Madness

Sydney downhill does not exist. No one skates down mountain roads. Everyone here sticks to the suburbs and local bombs. There are no good downhill runs in sydney. Everything is flat.

Please do not ask where to go skateboarding, because we dont know. We dont actually skate in sydney, we all ride scooters...

Yeh, and it was a bit scary. Ha.
Even if they have distinctly warned us that "next time people are found riding on this hill, fines WILL be issued and ALL your gear confiscated permantly - tell all your friends and make the word known through all your communication avenues" ? I thought that if they'd given us warning and we disobey they have the right to take our gear.

I'd seriously recommend people to make no association to ASRA or any group when they ride there. Say they hadnt heard that they'd given us any warnings.

Apart from that - 11 people was a wicked crew!

Just a heads up Robbo, wasnt just groms either, we had 11 people..
maybe just leave the pie alone for a few weeks.

Don't worry Tim its not a police state. In the absence of some sort of special state laws such as the NSW car hoon laws, If police were to try to confiscate something in your legal possession it would be considered theft. Just about everyone who has gone to the pie has been fined or threatened by cops multiple times including myself. They also know that all they can do is give you a $56 ticket.

Not sure why you guys go to the pie for, given that everybody is already aware that you tend to get turfed by the cops on most occasions, I don't think anyone really needs a heads up for that. Get on a train and head to a real run where you get less heat and a better road

Yeah Robbo- We do. Just hadn't done Pie before so thought we'd just cruise up! Anyway cheers mate. Yeah Kelly Keira will be on tomoz. 8am morn sesh, and an arvo roll too.

from jacko - tell ya what, next time you decide to rock up to a sydney hill with 11 people you better hope your fast enough to roll with the speed if not faster than the traffic. Pie is an easy hill to ride but it can be slow if your legs arent up to shape or your tuck is not good. When there are slow people it holds up traffic and people get annoyed. when theres a group of slow people imagine how that looks. everyone knows that Pie is a hot spot so dont go blowing it, every time you guys go there theres trouble with police, ive only ever been hassled there twice.
you guys wanna get into riding down hills go to the pump station when theres no traffic instead of blowing it for the people who skate sydney hills regularly

I Didn't know it was that hot, and the plan was never for 11 to be there-Your kinda asking for curry if theres that many.

It started at like 5-6 (all of which are fast enough to roll with the speed) but word got around I guess that there was people rollin there and somehow there was just that many. Sorry boys- not trying to ruin it for anybody, we were just unlucky-had 2 runs and then the cops came. This wasn't about "getting into riding down hills either", there's plenty of better roads then Pie.
